List of many lost Brothers.

We have lost many of our Brothers over the past few days.
 
I am sure by now most of you have heard Brother Emitt Keene has passed away. Emitt suffered a heart attack Tuesday night and passed away yesterday (Wednesday) morning. At this time I have no details about services but I will forward them to you as soon I get them. I waited a day to post this as I knew many of us knew Brother Emitt, I didn't want to have you read it by email. As most of you know Brother Keene served as Funeral Master for many years and for many Lodges. Please keep Emitt's family in your prayers.

Brother Harold K. Bramble a member of Valley Hi Lodge #1407 has laid down his working tools. Masonic graveside services will be held at Ft. Sam Houston on Friday 13th, 2015 at 9:45am
 
Brother Harold McClairty, also a member of Valley Hi Lodge has passed away. Brother McClairty was a 50+ year Mason. His Masonic services will be held at Ft. Sam Houston on Tuesday 17th at 1:30pm. Brother Gary Dudley will serve as Funeral Master for both of these services.
 
A courtesy Masonic service will be held for Brother Charles O. House on the 16th of February at 10:00am at Ft. Sam Houston. Brother House was a member of Union Lodge #7 in Junction City, Kansas. Services will be held under the auspicious of Kelly Lodge #1131. As of this email I do not know who the Funeral Master will be.
 
Brethren, please attend these services if possible and please keep these families in your prayers.

Brethren,   We received the following notices of members who have laid down their working tools of life: Brother Robert Venton Brown passed on to the celestial lodge above on 25 February 2013 in Tullahome, TN, Bro. Brown joined our Lodge in August 1972. His services will be held on 18 March 2013 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahomo, TN at 11:00 AM, he will be interned in Oakwood Cemetery. Bro. Charles F. “Chuck” Schermerhorn passed on to the celestial lodge above on 26 February 2013, Bro. Schermerhorn joined our lodge in October 2005 from “Army Lodge“ (Gatun Lodge) in Panama. He is a Past Master of that Lodge and has been a Mason for over 37 years.  His funeral arrangements are pending, but he will be buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.  Once a date has been established we will send out another notice. Brother Norm Ess

Brother Norman “Norm” Ess has been moved from BAMC to the Regents Center (Oakwell Farms), Room 210, 8501 Laurens Lane, San Antonio. His cancer is out of control and he is now in Hospice Care.  He will probably never be back in lodge again and he really wants to come back at least one more time.  He is weak and tires easily, but he appreciates every visitor.  So, if your able and take the time…Please go see Norm and stay for 30 minutes or less if you can.  His son, Terry, is in town and will be here for a week or so.
