Brother Norm Ess

Brother Norman “Norm” Ess has been moved from BAMC to the Regents Center (Oakwell Farms), Room 210, 8501 Laurens Lane, San Antonio. His cancer is out of control and he is now in Hospice Care.  He will probably never be back in lodge again and he really wants to come back at least one more time.  He is weak and tires easily, but he appreciates every visitor.  So, if your able and take the time…Please go see Norm and stay for 30 minutes or less if you can.  His son, Terry, is in town and will be here for a week or so. Then he’ll return to SC and come back once he clears up a few things.

 

Again, please go see Norm if you can.

Brethren,   We received the following notices of members who have laid down their working tools of life: Brother Robert Venton Brown passed on to the celestial lodge above on 25 February 2013 in Tullahome, TN, Bro. Brown joined our Lodge in August 1972. His services will be held on 18 March 2013 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahomo, TN at 11:00 AM, he will be interned in Oakwood Cemetery. Bro. Charles F. “Chuck” Schermerhorn passed on to the celestial lodge above on 26 February 2013, Bro. Schermerhorn joined our lodge in October 2005 from “Army Lodge“ (Gatun Lodge) in Panama. He is a Past Master of that Lodge and has been a Mason for over 37 years.  His funeral arrangements are pending, but he will be buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.  Once a date has been established we will send out another notice.
