Update on our family members

Greetings, Update on Betty Sanders.  She is in rehab at N. E. Methodist in Live Oak on Topperwien.  She is on the 2nd floor room 211 and can have visitors.  She is doing well and will turn 85 on Sunday 9 December.  Also, Brother Dan Carbaugh is still doing dialysis and had an appointment regarding his pace maker. Julia Perkins Services

Greetings,  Memorial Services for Julia Perkins, wife of Brother Bob Perkins will be held on 28 November 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway at 1200 PM.  A reception will be held at Charles W. Julia Perkins, has passed a way.

Bro. Curtis Swafford has put aside his working tools

I was notified by his Daughter this morning of his passing. Mr. Curtis Edward Swafford, born on July 24, 1941 in Riceville, Tennessee, passed away at age 77 on September 17, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Calhoun High School and TN Wesleyan College. Curtis served in the Air Force and he also devoted his career to working at Randolph Air Force Base - Civil Service. Curtis is survived by his son, Mark Morga and wife Tara Morga; daughter, Christine Garza and husband Mark Garza; sister, Faye Burger and husband Carey Burger; and grandchildren, AnneMarie Garza, Stephanie Garza, Karina Morga, and Gabriela Morga. Some of Curtis' hobbies were ham radio - w5pke and bowling league. Friends and family can attend the service. The funeral will be at Fort Sam Cemetery on Thursday, October 4th at 11am.

T.E. Gene Carnes, in car wreck.

Brethren, Received the following message.  ============================= Subject: [San Antonio MWSA 39] PGM T.E. Gene Carnes Accident R;. W:. and W:. Sirs, Honorable Brethren, Ms Haberl and my Brothers, I was just called by Ron Havens after he spoke to PGM Mike Gower for about an hour and was asked to send out a “Heads-up” notice that R:. W:. T. E. Gene Carnes was involved in an horrible automobile accident.  He is at Ft. Sam Houston hospital, SAMMC as I write this email.  The information I have now is this; he has a head laceration that is fairly severe, internal bleeding and has been given 4 units of blood so far and there are other bodily injuries. He is currently (9:20 pm) in their operating room with tubes draining his lungs and they are running tests and scans to find out where and how bad the internal injuries are.  Gaye and Don are there with him. Annual Randall E. Briscoe Workshops for the fall, 2018!

Your District Service Teams are excited to announce our Annual Randall E. Briscoe Workshops for the fall, 2018! We are also pleased to announce we will be holding two this year.  The first Briscoe Workshop is:  Saturday, September 15,  at Davy Crockett Lodge from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon. 10,12 and 14 July Lodge Activities

Get ready for a Busy week.  On Tuesday10 July we will practice the Installation of Officers. Thursday will be a Lodge cleanup. So I am hoping you will come and help us get our Lodge spiffy clean.  Of course Saturday the 14th will be the big day!  The Master has ask for Members to show up at 11am to help us Close a Master Masons Lodge of Sorrow. and Open a Master Lodge.  

Called Meeting tonight

Brethren; We will have a called meeting tonight for the purpose of an EA Degree.  Lodge opens at 5:30pm for refreshments. The EA Lodge will be opened at 7pm

Funeral for Brother Jack Coleman

Honorable Brethren, The Honorable Jack Woods Coleman of Valley-Hi Masonic Lodge No. 1407 has laid down his working tools as outlined below; Our beloved Jack Woods Coleman went to his eternal rest on June 4, 2018. He was born on January 12, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas. He leaves this earth loved and admired by so many. Jack was a member of the Valley High Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite and Alzafar Shriners. A celebration of life service and burial will be held on Tuesday June 12 at 11:30 am at the San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Road, San Antonio, Texas 78214. Masonic Services will be conducted by the Honorable Gary Dudley, PM, Valley-Hi Masonic Lodge No. 1407 The Reverend Ann Helmke will officiate. There will also be a short service by the Valley High Masonic Lodge. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Battered Women and Children's Shelter, Family Violence Prevention Services, 7911 Broadway, 78209. Their work is close to our hearts.   Publish

Election of Officers ! Looking forward to seeing you at our June Stated Meeting. Lots of important information not to mention the Election of Officers (ok, I just did.)  Our Business meeting will be held on the 5th of June; dinner is at 6:30pm and our Stated meeting will begin at 7:30pm. 

FYI, Tuesday 29 May, Master's Degree !

Remember tomorrow, 29 May 2018, We will have a Masters Degree.  We will also have 2 Special guests, Brother Christian, a Member of The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, will be receiving his 50 Year Service pin.  Also attending our very own DDGM  RW Chip Green.

Funeral

Honorable Brethren, We have a courtesy funeral for the Honorable James Hatch of Empire Lodge No. 597 in Empire, Leelanau, Michigan. Services will be at Windcrest United Methodist Church, 8101 Midcrown, San Antonio, TX 78239 on 26-Mar-2018 at 11:00 am. The Honorable Timothy K. “TK” Anthony will conduct the Masonic Service.
