An update on Bro. Cecil from Jane.

, Cecil is stable and at home until triple by-pass on July 3^rd.  Procedure will be done at SAMMC.   His blockage is only 50-60%, the first Dr. misquoted, so that was good news.  The blockage is in the Left Main artery, right before where it branches off to the left and right to carry oxygen to th He’s scheduled for all his pre-op next week, we’ll have more details as to time etc. then.  Thank you for getting the word out, we’ve had several calls and that means a lot to both of us.  I’ll keep you updated as we go along; the surgery, & cardiac rehab.  So far we know he’ll be in hospital 4-5 days, then 3-6 weeks outpatient cardiac rehab.  The Dr’s say he should lbe back to 100% by early Fall.  They have selected him to be part of a study on a current cholesterol medication (Plavix) that appears to strengthen cardiac bypass tissue, so that will be interesting.
