update on Brothers

Bro. Joe Faulkner was hospitalized last week for 6 days in Belton for a thyroid condition and pneumonia; he was released and went home on Sunday. Needless to say, Bro. Joe is not doing well and needs to be in our prayers. I called and talked with Sandy, his daughter, and she said that Joe did not have pneumonia, but he had a bad thyroid condition brought on from a heart pill he has been taking since March. They have taken him off that pill and they hope to see him improve in the next 4 to 6 weeks. His heart is bad, but his cancer and kidneys are under control. I will call Sandy at least weekly to keep everyone informed. Bro. Sheldon E. Kidder’s wife, Etha, passed away on 14 August. Bro. Kidder just called me yesterday to let us know. Services and Burial are completed. Bro. Norman Ess was in Nix Specialty Health Center on Vance Jackson, but when I called this afternoon I learned he was released yesterday, so he should be at home.
