Bob Scott the current and recently installed master of Randolph, went to the hospital for fluid in the lungs, come to find out he had a lung collapse, and after further investigation, found tumors in his lungs, and after a biopsy found that he was in level 4 lung cancer, inoperable, and when he is released from the hospital, will go straight in to hospiss. Lets keep him and his wife Elanor in our prayers.

Brethren,   We received the following notices of members who have laid down their working tools of life: Brother Robert Venton Brown passed on to the celestial lodge above on 25 February 2013 in Tullahome, TN, Bro. Brown joined our Lodge in August 1972. His services will be held on 18 March 2013 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahomo, TN at 11:00 AM, he will be interned in Oakwood Cemetery. Bro. Charles F. “Chuck” Schermerhorn passed on to the celestial lodge above on 26 February 2013, Bro. Schermerhorn joined our lodge in October 2005 from “Army Lodge“ (Gatun Lodge) in Panama. He is a Past Master of that Lodge and has been a Mason for over 37 years.  His funeral arrangements are pending, but he will be buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.  Once a date has been established we will send out another notice. Brother Norm Ess

Brother Norman “Norm” Ess has been moved from BAMC to the Regents Center (Oakwell Farms), Room 210, 8501 Laurens Lane, San Antonio. His cancer is out of control and he is now in Hospice Care.  He will probably never be back in lodge again and he really wants to come back at least one more time.  He is weak and tires easily, but he appreciates every visitor.  So, if your able and take the time…Please go see Norm and stay for 30 minutes or less if you can.  His son, Terry, is in town and will be here for a week or so.
