Update on Brother E. D. Jacobson.   A viewing will be held on 5 December 2019 at Mission Park North on Cherry Ridge between 5 PM and 8 PM.  Services will be held on 6 December 2019 at Mission Park North on Cherry Ridge at 12:00.  Internment will follow at Mission Park North on Interstate 10 West.  Funeral Master will be Brother David Brown, a nephew of Brother Jacobson, and a Past Master on Sonora Lodge # 635 in Summerdale, Alabama.  Pall bearers will be from Charles W. Just a reminder our annual 39th District MWSA DDGM & Funeral Masters Appreciation Dinner is November 15th, 2019. The dinner will be at the Little Red Barn. Social will be at 6:00pm and dinner at 6:30pm. This year Right Worshipful Brad Billings the Grand Junior Warden of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas will be hosting the event. This event is open to spouses so please feel free to bring them with you. Honorable Brethren, I was informed that our ( not a Member of our Lodge) Honorable Brother Roger Hopkins laid down his working tools Tuesday afternoon. I’ll send out all the information later when I get it. Please Keep his family in your prayers.

Brother Paul Lee Gordon a Member of our Lodge passed on 29 July 2019.  Visitation is scheduled for 5 Aug. 5-8pm, at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home 6321 Bandera.  Funeral Service is scheduled for 11am at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Helotes 13715 Riggs Road.  as of now there will not be a Masonic Service.

We Will hear the Prof. in the 2-3rd sections. Hope you can make it. It is always fun to watch.

2019 Lamar Awards

Brethren; This coming Tuesday is our Family night. Supper at 6:30pm. Meeting is for our Past Masters. Also happening this night will be the Fantastic Teeth club ;; Packet Assembly Party, at Army Lodge at 6pm. come out hand help me put the packets together, like 600 of them  also there will be pizza!

Well this Stated Communication will be a full evening. We have 1 petition to be read, and one to be voted on and our visit of the DDGM.

Brethren, It is with a heavy heart that I pass this along. Br. Tom Rogers has laid down his working tools. Please see the attached document for more details. Also, the document is somewhat vague about which day the Masonic service and visitation will be. As I get more information, I will pass that along as well. Please keep Florence in your prayers. I just received clarification on the Masonic Service for Tom.  It will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday evening at Fredericksburg Funeral Home, 2278 South Highway 87, Fredericksburg (west side of the highway).  PGM Mike Gower will officiate.

Will be at 6PM on Tuesday March 19th, Location is Army Lodge. The Fantastic Teeth Fan Club is  a program created by Masonic Children & Family Services of Texas (MCFS) to help children and parents learn to prevent painful dental problems and avoid expensive treatment. We partner with MCFS, and Masonic Lodges across the state to provide free tooth decay prevention kits and dental education to first graders.  If you are interested in participating, please let me know.
